Our charming, recently renovated, stone house is located just steps from the bustling centre of Old Antibes within easy reach of all public transport. The nearest beach is 5 minutes walk away. Plenty of public car parks ( and car rental agencies ) are close by but you really do not need a car in Antibes. The house is set on a calm, friendly pedestrian street and yet numerous restaurants, cafes and a good choice of supermarkets are just one minute's walk from your door. Exposed stone walls and wooden beams are combined with a modern, fully equipped kitchen with full size oven and hob, dishwasher, a large fridge freezer, microwave, toaster and coffee machine etc. The kitchen is on the ground floor and with the 'snug' style dining area, makes this a very sociable room, with English and French TV and DVD player, where you can chat, cook and relax or study. There is wifi throughout the house. All bedrooms have reversible air-conditioning for both heating and cooling. Also on the ground floor is a separate WC and sink, along with the washing machine and tumble-drier. Stairs take you up to the 1st floor with it's double bedroom and beautiful ensuite shower, WC and handbasin. The stairs carry on up to the 2nd floor where a second bedroom offers a double bed and an armchair/ sofa-bed. ( twin beds available as an alternative, on request) Also on the 2nd floor is a second shower room, with shower, WC and handbasin. Passing on up the stairs brings you to the 3rd and final floor, which opens into a terrace. Here you will find a single bed that can be transformed into a comfortable double bed, a handbasin, a small fridge, along with a flat screen Internet TV. This bedroom shares the toilet and shower facilities on the landing below. All bedrooms are fitted with ceiling fans for the warmer months. The 3rd floor has doors opening to the roof terrace which is equipped with table, chairs and a parasol. The house benefits from double-glazing throughout. This is a typical provencale townhouse spread over 4 floors, so it is not suitable for people with limited mobility. Additional Amenities A selection of books and board games are also provided.
